Vuelvo al sur

Tango...

Υ.Γ.

Volcada : a falling step - The leader causes the follower to tilt or lean forward and fall off her axis before he catches her again. The process produces a beautiful leg drop from her. The movement requires the support of a close embrace.

Milonguero Style : the style of dancing in a very close embrace. Usually used in the very crowded clubs frequented by singles in the center of Buenos Aires. Milonguero Style is danced in a very close embrace with full upper body contact, the partners leaning into each other (but never hanging on each other).

@sigmataf

@pastaflor

@synas

και one step at a time...όντως κάθε βήμα έχει την δικιά του πληρότητα...

Hi there ! Welcome...I think you're very lucky to have such teachers...I took some classes here in Athens for about a year and a half and was really enchanted, but unfortunately I haven't been able to continue this season...

The post is a little poem concerned with tango as one can easily imagine ! If translated, it would be a little bit like this :

Tango...
momentum caught in images...
on a slippery floor...
As usual without plan
These moments
always have the wrong kind of shoe on...

Landing from a volcada
the stage swirls its lights
and sighs with relief
just so you can start with a clean slate
and believe
that were ypu landed
is truly the most beautiful place in the world

Loneliness version 1.0.1

always in milonguero style...

I strolled down to your blog, but I can't understand a word either !

Even so...

Don't stop the dance !

Vuelvo al Sur,
como se vuelve siempre al amor,
vuelvo a vos,
con mi deseo, con mi temor.

Llevo el Sur,
como un destino del corazon,
soy del Sur,
como los aires del bandoneon.

Sueño el Sur,
inmensa luna, cielo al reves,
busco el Sur,
el tiempo abierto, y su despues.

Quiero al Sur,
su buena gente, su dignidad,
siento el Sur,
como tu cuerpo en la intimidad.

Te quiero Sur,
Sur, te quiero.

Vuelvo al Sur,
como se vuelve siempre al amor,
vuelvo a vos,
con mi deseo, con mi temor.

Quiero al Sur,
su buena gente, su dignidad,
siento el Sur,
como tu cuerpo en la intimidad.
Vuelvo al Sur,
llevo el Sur,
te quiero Sur,
te quiero Sur...
